Description:
Discovered in Korea and acknowledged as a new species of garnet in 1963 by the International Society of Mineralogy. This is another very rare garnet species which contains vanadium. Its colour is intense green and the crystals are usually microscopic (0.1 to 1.7 mm). This unusual specimen shows several intensely-green crystals and the typical crystallization of garnets. |
