Description:
Amongst the chrysoberyls there such valuable and important gems as alexandrite and "cat's eye" or cymophane. It is therefore one of the most important gems. An interesting feature of its crystals are the cyclic twins called trillings. Although in our collection we have other chrysoberyl crystals from important deposits such as those of Sri Lanka and Russia, none is as spectacular or as big as this specimen. |
