Description:
They appear as crystals in basalt rock hollows due to a hydrothermal process occurring after the volcanic process, or in crevices of granite rocks. Apophyllites, and specially the specimens coming from India, have found their niche in mineral collections due their beautiful crystals, which sometimes are quite large, their beautiful colours and magnificent sheen. |
