Description:
Dun to brown-coloured tourmaline is called Dravite after the River Drava in the Republic of Slovenia, which is were it was first found. Specimens of best quality have been found in the gem-bearing gravels of Sri Lanka in the shape of pebbles. But the largest and best-formed crystals come from this deposit in Australia, which is also where our specimen comes from.
