The deposit where this specimen is from, discovered in 2009, is located to the northwest of the Island in a mangrove which floods with high tide. In the month of July 2009, 10,000 people waited for the tide ebb so as to rush to the excavated areas, empty out the water, algae, fish and other creatures so as to continue the excavation until the tide returned. The find was the news of the year in the world of precious stones and the magnificent specimens attain high prices.
